Landman.Bio

Landman.Bio develops natural and sustainable bacteriophage-based solutions to combat bacterial crop diseases in crops by replacing chemical treatments and antibiotics.

Securing global food production continues to rely heavily on effective crop protection. However, increasing regulatory pressure on chemical bactericides—due to environmental impact and resistance issues—has created an urgent need for sustainable alternatives. Meeting modern sustainability standards demands novel, targeted approaches that safeguard both yields and ecosystems.

On our technology

Bacteriophages offer a promising biological solution. These viruses selectively infect and kill harmful bacteria, replicating only within their targets and disappearing once the infection is cleared. With no impact on non-target organisms, they integrate seamlessly into pest management strategies.

Phages are self-replicating, self-limiting, and effective across a range of application methods. Using phage mixtures also supports resistance management and broadens activity. Their precision, adaptability, and environmental safety make bacteriophages an innovative tool for the future of crop protection.
