Lantana Bio produces plant compounds by fermentation in baker’s yeast. Their current focus is production of anthocyanins: the natural compounds giving flowers, fruits and berries their red, purple, and blue colors.

On our technology

The startup’s technology platform allows yeast cultures to produce natural anthocyanins at levels which are generally 100-1000 times more concentrated than what is found in plants, and with a much lower environmental impact, solving a critical challenge in the production of colorants for the cosmetics and food industry.
