Ilana Taub joins biotope as stakeholder manager

We are pleased to announce that Ilana Taub has joined the biotope team as Stakeholder Manager.

Ilana brings a rich background in entrepreneurship, having spent over a decade building and scaling foodtech startups. As co-founder of Bolder Foods, she navigated the full founder journey: from concept development to fundraising, from growing a team to making difficult pivots. She understands firsthand what it takes to launch and grow a biotech company.

In fact, Ilana Taub is no stranger to biotope. She previously participated in the biotope program as a founder, which gives her a unique, inside-out perspective on the value of hands-on support, expert mentorship, and a strong ecosystem. Her transition from founder to team member underscores the strength of the community we’re building, and her commitment to helping other early-stage entrepreneurs succeed.

In her new role, Ilana will work closely with biotope’s portfolio companies and ecosystem partners to strengthen relationships, foster collaboration, and help startups grow. She will also play a central role in expanding the reach and depth of the biotope community, connecting founders with resources, mentors, and peers who can accelerate their progress.

Ilana’s experience, perspective, and drive make her a powerful addition to the team. Her entrepreneurial background ensures she speaks the language of founders, and her commitment to impact aligns fully with biotope’s mission to support science-driven startups tackling planetary health challenges.

We’re excited about the energy and insight she brings to biotope. We look forward to seeing the connections and momentum she helps build across our growing network.

Welcome, Ilana!
